The Nance Auction Service was founded in 1997 by Colonel Leroy Nance, nicknamed Colonel Cowboy. Leroy was a small farmer that had a dream of auctioneering.

His company was founded on the beliefs of taking care of customers through honesty and integrity. Leroy loved to help people. His slogan was "No matter how big or small we do them all", and that he did. He taught us the value of a customer, and that means any customer. If they didn't have enough for an auction he found a way to make it succeed. He taught us to never turn our back on anyone.

Leroy loved people and auctioneering. Leroy passed away suddenly on March 1, 2003. His legacy will always be carried with us in his company. (
In Memory Of Leroy Nance)

The company is now succeeded by Colonel Bill Nance (nephew). We are a family business located in Sheldon, Missouri. We specialize in antique, estate, liquidation, farm equipment, shop tools, and household auctions. We strive to provide the best service to our customers at a fair price. We provide concessions and restrooms at every auction. We have held auctions in three states Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma. No matter where we travel to we take good care of our customers. We commit to our customers to act professional and honest. Although, we miss Colonel Cowboy, we are going to make him proud by continuing his dream and ours.
